Vampire™ Hand Rejuvenation is a painless and minimally invasive procedure that combines the science of platelet rich plasma (PRP) with a hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler to correct wrinkling, thinning and rough skin as well as volume loss in the hands due to age and sun damage.

This treatment is a revolutionary new treatment that is only performed by a “handful” of providers across the country. It, along with all other Vampire™ procedures, is highly complex and must be performed at a Vampire™-certified center by a trained provider who uses an FDA-approved sterile system to obtain the PRP and understands the science and how to perform and tailor the treatment to each patient’s concerns. Only providers trained and certified by the Cellular Medicine Association can perform the Vampire™ Procedures.
In Tennessee, only an advanced medical provider or a physician who has met the above qualifications may offer this procedure. Just like many other cosmetic procedures, Vampire Hand™ Rejuvenation is not a highly regulated procedure and thus patients must be educated in how to choose the best provider so the procedure can be performed safely and the patient can obtain the best results.
Our injector, Awilda LaBonne, has been trained and certified by the creator of all the Vampire™ procedures, Dr. Charles Runels, and has an in-depth knowledge of hand anatomy which enables her to perform this treatment with little to no risk. Vampire™ Hand Rejuvenation FAQ
During this treatment, our injector, Awilda LaBonne uses a dermal filler to restore volume, thicken skin, and reduce the appearance of vessels and tendons by strategically injecting PRP into multiple areas of the hands and wrists. These growth factors activate the body’s healthy regenerative processes to stimulate new collagen, new fatty tissue (smoothness), and improve blood circulation (tone and texture).

Although this treatment will not specifically address pigment issues like sunspots and age spots, Joie De Vivre Medspa of Chattanooga offers several different treatments that can be combined with Vampire™ Hand Rejuvenation to address these concerns.
Following the treatment, patients can expect minimal swelling and bruising, resulting in little to no social downtime. Normal activities can be resumed immediately. For those patients who experience very minimal bruising, makeup can be used for cover. Although rare, if any bruising occurs, Arnica gel and pellets, which are provided, will help decrease the bruising.
After this treatment, you will see immediate volume restoration and rejuvenation of the hands. As the PRP stimulates healing, collagen remodeling, circulation, and healthy tissue regeneration, patients will see texture, tone and color improvement, and noticeable tightening that will peak in 6 to 12 months and last for years.
